Hello my special peeps! I have been chosen to be on Crafters Corner as a "Best of the web". Crafters Corner is a special blog that features stitching, handmade jewelry, crafts and ideas for the home and garden. They have a great post on ways in which to organize a craft room and if you are like me every little hint can make our lives easier.LOL!You can see that post here http://craftcorners.com/how-to-organize-your-craft-room/. Thanks for stopping by!Big hugs!
So since we are talking about craftrooms I thought I would share some pictures of mine!

This is my work area.I have this great horseshoe desk that gives me a whole bunch of stations to work from. All of the things I use for every card are front and centre.I don't know if you can see very well but inside my shelf is buttons.Yes all of those little jars hold buttons of every shape and color. Also I keep all of my embellishments in containers with spacers seperating them in colors, types(metal, glitter,etc...) and seasons or occasions.
My favorite thing is my card wheel shelf where I display all my cards and where my kids can grab one if they need them .
I store all my diecuts in binder like containers with magnetic pages . They are all labelled on the spines so I know which box holds which designs. Then I store them in a whicker basket on my desk so they are close at hand.
My sewing machine is something new that I'm trying to incoorporate in my projects, so I leave it out as a reminder to use it.:) Here's a tip from my good friend Wendy. I was always changing the thread color and it drove me nuts. When I told her I was doing this she suggested using a Kraft colored thread . It seems to stand out and seemed to work with all colors! Now I only change it for Halloween cards where I use black!

This is my small punches and embellishments shelf .As you can see containers with drawers are a must. Most of them are labeled and are easy to find. The white eaves troughing is my ribbon shelf .It works awesome if you are a ribbon fanatic like myself! This makes it easy to see the color you want and you can just pull on the ends and cut off as much as you need!Love it!Here is a close up.

I keep all my paper in files color coded and labeled in my desk top drawer and my bottom drawer holds all of my 6x6 paper packs which I keep in sandwich bags so I don't lose any scraps from the ones I've cut but might use the small pieces on another card.

In my large desk I keep all of my Stampin up punches as well as all the other lines of stamps I collect.

This desk also shelves all of my S.U diecuts and embossing folders. And of course all of the background paper. In folders and files.

Another must for me is my tinkerbell collection and my other cartoon characters I've collected. I think to be inspired you need to be happy and what makes me happy is them and pictures of my friends and family!Mwahhhh!
Well thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Crafters Corner for some crafting inspiration !Hugs!
