Loonie Stripes

Woohoo! It's friday and that means it's another Looine Stampers challenge. This week our inspiration comes from Maria and she would like us to use stripes.I had to search through a lot of paper to find stripes, I'm more of a polka dot girl I think (at least by looking at my paper stash) but I did find some stripe paper.Yea me!

Unscripted Sketch Challenge #142

This weeks challenge had a piggyback ...to make the front piece a pocket, so that is what I did with my cute "I love you this big"from MFT.

I think you could use this extra piece as a book mark if you wanted too!

Loonie Color Challenge

So personally I hate color challenges but since challenges are about going out side our comfort zone I will fogive Wendy for creating this challenge.LOL! So she wants us to use Kraft,brown, aqua and white.Well as much as I hated this I think I came up with a really cool card. I even played with fire!!!Check it out!

Again this card is so not me but I reaaly love it. I actually cut up a Kraft bag and used my digi stamp from Sweetnsassy(It's trees ) if you couldn't tell!LOL! Then i lit the paper on fire chalked the trees to look like poplars and then added some stick on letters and Walaa! There you have it.

Inside it has the saying "It takes a long time to grow an old friend"I think since Wendy made this challenge and she is one of my "oldest" friends she should get it for Valentines Day!What do you think?LOL!

So after thinking about it I guess my loonie card wasn't really funny! So I decided to use this weeks sketch challenge from Mft and make what I think is a funnier card!LOL!

I love this set and it has so many extras and saying yet no one seems to hardly use it.I have been doing the insides of my cards lately so I'm sharing that too! Hugs!

Let's Get Funny

This weeks challenge comes from Dee and she wants to see something "Funny". I went with the new mad hatter stamp from Kraftin Kimmie as I think he's pretty funny looking anyway and I like the sayings he came with as well.

Inside my card it says "We are all a little "Mad"!Because well... Aren't we!:)

Unscripted Sketch challenge #140

Wow! I haven't done a sketch from Unscripted in so long well not that I've done on time anyway.LOL!So at first I was a little put off on this one I cut out a bunch of sports balls and thought of doing a boys sports card but that just didn't inspire me but when I was cleaning up my work area I came across these butterflies and well that just seemed to be the right thing to use so I hope you like it as much as I do?

I wanted the inside to read "On butterfly wings" but I couldn't find that sentiment so I went with the second half of this one from Stampin up.

Kraftin Kimmie #110- Get in Shape

So when I first saw the challenge was" get in shape" I immediately thought... oh crap another resolution card. I never make resolutions because lets face it who really keeps them. But to my surprise and delight they were talking "shapes".This weeks challenge is to use 3 different shapes on your card. You can include your cards shape as one of those.

I used Kraftin Kimmies new "White Rabbit" stamp for this one.Isn't he cute?My three shapes are the big circle,rectangle and my heart buttons.I found this kraft paper with the chocolate and red at scrapbookers paradise it is from Canvas Corp.I love it for V-day!

Grimm's Fairytale- Little Red Riding Hood

I have had this digi stamp and saying for years and never used them so when I saw CCEE's challenge this week was to use a Grimm's Fairytale in honor of Jakob Grimm's birthday I just had to use it.I went with the JUGS sketch challenge for this week also.

Round, round , get around, I get around...

 

Sorry That song came to me as I was doing this weeks challenge. Which by the way is from Regan and she would like to see a round card. I hardly ever make these unless I am following a challenge but I always like them.

I actually won this stamp set from the Greeting Farm when I partiscipated in Splitcoasts Breast cancer awareness challenges.I think these little guys are super cute and really easy to paper piece.They are the perfect size for round cards.
